Tailings Dam Bridge Capping

Capping and material placement works associated with tailings dam bridge infrastructure, including compaction and surface preparation to design specification.

Coordinated closely with the geotechnical engineer and site team to plan material placement sequences. GPS-controlled equipment was used to achieve design levels without excess loading, and compaction was monitored and tested throughout.

Working around sensitive tailings dam infrastructure requires precision and care. Material placement had to meet structural engineering requirements without overloading the bridge structure or disturbing adjacent tailings.

Completed bridge capping works to full design specification with zero rework, maintaining the structural integrity of the dam infrastructure and meeting all geotechnical engineering acceptance criteria.
