A2D Mining & Civil

/ Safety & Systems

Safety Without Compromise.

Mining buyers and site managers demand contractors who can demonstrate a genuine safety culture — not just a folder of forms. At A2D, safety is embedded in how we think, plan, and deliver.

/ Our Safety Systems

Four Pillars.One Standard.

Our integrated safety management system spans the full project lifecycle. From pre-mobilisation planning through to completion — every stage is governed by documented procedures and verified controls.

[01]

Safety Framework

Every project is governed by documented procedures and site-specific safety plans — before a single machine turns on. Our system is aligned to AS 4801 / ISO 45001.

[02]

Risk Management

Hazards are identified and controlled at the planning stage, not discovered on site. Stop-work authority is exercised at every level of our workforce.

[03]

Documentation & Compliance

Inspection reports, pre-start checks, training registers, and GPS records are maintained across every project — traceable and audit-ready on demand.

[04]

Environmental Compliance

Dust suppression, water management, topsoil handling, and rehabilitation controls are embedded in every scope we deliver — not treated as an afterthought.

/ Standards & Alignment

Built to theRight Standard.

Our safety and environmental management systems are structured around the most relevant Australian and international standards — embedded in our operational documentation, not filed away.

Mine rehabilitation and environmental compliance

/ Environmental Compliance

Land Obligations.Taken Seriously.

Mining operations carry real environmental obligations. From topsoil handling protocols that preserve seed banks, to dust suppression procedures that protect air quality — A2D builds environmental controls into every scope we deliver.

Our rehabilitation work is performed to meet or exceed the closure criteria set by the mine operator and relevant regulators. Landform shaping, topsoil placement, and revegetation preparation are all documented to provide an auditable compliance trail.

Water management is a critical environmental obligation in WA's Goldfields region. Our site activities include bunding, containment, and diversion as standard, ensuring we meet site water management plans and regulatory requirements.

/ How Safety Works in Practice

Before the MachineEven Starts.

Every project passes through our safety process before mobilisation. By the time our machines are on site, hazards are already identified and controlled.

01

Pre-Mob Planning

Scope review, site-specific safety plan developed, SWMS prepared for all high-risk tasks, and client safety requirements integrated.

02

Induction & Briefing

Full site induction for all personnel. Toolbox talk conducted before first works. JSEA reviewed on-site with crew.

03

Active Controls

Daily pre-starts, stop-work authority exercised freely, hazard identification ongoing, near-miss reporting encouraged.

04

Close-Out & Review

Compliance documentation handed to client, incident register reviewed, continuous improvement loop closed.
